I've known him since he was a fresh, new EMT-Basic. I'd say "innocent," but since he was already a lawyer, he came to EMS pre-cynicaled.
He's cynical, brash, opinionated, cynical, sarcastic, perceptive, cynical, and absolutely passionate about EMS.
Did I mention he was cynical?
How passionate about EMS? Well, I'll tell you. He's the only guy I know who could watch an inebriated patron dance topless on the bar at Coyote Ugly, swinging around a notable set of knockers, and say… "Did you see her pupils? That chick's high as a kite."
The rest of the medics with him, myself included, barely even noticed she had a head.
