Ambulance Driver Files A Day in the Life | Kelly Grayson
Working with Kelso tonight, and he tells me the tale of a call they ran not long ago.
They found a guy passed out on his toilet, gray and clammy, agonal respirations. They slap the pads on him, see he’s in VF, and shock him back to a sinus rhythm.
Guy arrests again on the way to the rig, they do CPR, shock twice more, and bring the guy to the ED, awake and talking with good vital signs.
Guy walks back into the ED a couple of weeks later with a nice card… to thank the hospital for saving his life.
Gotta love it…
