I’d like to give a shout-out to the Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services and their EMS Educators Conference, and the sponsors that make it possible.
This is the second time I’ve been privileged to speak at their educators conference, the first time being in Pine Mountain, GA back in 2007.
One thing that struck me then is still true now: this is an exceedingly well-organized conference that treats its speakers well.
Nowadays, they hold the conference in Savannah, a gorgeous destination city with great food, culture and nightlife, and plenty of sights to see. It’s what New Orleans ought to be, the Garden District parts without the garbage stench, drunks, hookers and sex shops you find in the French Quarter.
Many thanks to the Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services for having me. If you’re an EMS educator from Georgia, South Carolina or Florida, you should really consider attending next year. You’ll find it well worth your while.
