Much joinder was was created yesterday at the Lone Star Medics Hydration Happy Hour following the close of the exhibit hall. Many thanks to Caleb Causey for hosting this mixer. I got to meet a great many Facebook friends for the first time in meatspace, and speaking of meatspace, dinner at Texas de Brazil was… epic. There was food, liquor and laughter, telling and retelling of stories, toasts made to absent friends, and lots of, well… meat.
Seriously, when vegans have nightmares, the boogeyman looks exactly like a Texas de Brazil waiter.
Yesterday was reconnoiter of the exhibit hall floor and connecting with people, today is focused on visiting specific vendors and setting up T&E opportunities for articles in the next few months.
