Stepped on the scale this morning to discover I’m 50 pounds lighter than I was at Christmas.

Haven’t been depriving myself to do it, not doing any special diet, just making a conscious effort not to eat like an idiot and expend more calories every day than I consume. Losing weight is not difficult for me at all.

Which of course begs the question, why did I wait so long before doing something about it, but that’s a longer, more complex story.

Here’s to the next fifty pounds gone, and maintaining healthier habits.
