Veteran’s Day

Thank you to all of those selfless men and women who have served in our country’s armed forces.

Your service and your sacrifice are much of what makes this country great. Not just militarily, but in fulfilling the promise of the experiment in liberty that is the United States of America.

It’s a nebulous thing, freedom, and not an easy ideal to achieve. And sometimes, blood must be shed not only to defend it, but to gain it. You have not only been willing to make that sacrifice for your own countrymen, but for strangers in foreign lands across the globe, as well.

This American thanks you for that, from the bottom of my heart.
