Nothing like showing up to teach a combined EMT/Medic transitional refresher with less than twenty in online enrollment, only to discover another thirty waiting in line to enroll on-site.
I wound up with fifty between the two sections.
Still, they were good classes.
Played some symptom-based games, taught a little of that airway voodoo that I do so well, and hopefully didn’t bore anyone to tears.
I get a charge out of seeing a ten-year medic’s eyebrows raise when I teach him something he’s never heard before, or that look of revelation when an EMT grasps something I’m teaching at the medic level.
Fun times.
