… I have three observations:
1. The AMR medics didn’t kill Michael Olowo-ake. The thug with the gun did.
2. Every dead or wounded medic will absorb the efforts of the next three rescuers to arrive on the scene… and that’s before anyone gets to the original patient.
3. This is why you never, ever stage within direct line of sight to a dangerous scene. If you can see the scene, the people at the scene can see you. And some off them may take a shot at you.
Or, as in this case, wonder why you remained parked a block away instead of dashing in foolishly heroically like the medics on television.
Oh, and Fox 40 News? Nice job of sensationalistic douchebaggery, guys.
