For You EMS Types

In the vein of “don’t bitch about the problem unless you’re willing to be a part of the solution,” Jules Scadden posts a reply to my column on EMS1 entitled “Where’s Our Martin Luther?”

A voice that creates a roar cannot be ignored. In May and June this year, two important events by EMS practitioners will provide opportunities to present a united front and voice a common mission to our legislators and the public as a whole.

Give it a read, and leave your comments. More importantly, make an effort to participate in some way if you can. She makes good point in that our representative organizations are only as effective as our participation in them.

Interesting quote that begins the article, however:

“A voice that creates a roar that cannot be ignored.”

Funny, I thought that’s exactly what Martin Luther did.
